Companies can apply with their products until 30 July 2023. To apply for the Amazon Launchpad Innovation Awards 2023, your business must be registered in the EEA, UK or Switzerland. You should offer a physical product to end consumers and be the brand owner of that product. In addition, you should be a small or medium-sized company with fewer than 250 employees and your total annual turnover should be less than €50 million or your annual balance sheet should not exceed €43 million at the time of submission.
The grand prize winner of the Amazon Launchpad Innovation Awards will receive €100,000 in prize money, giving them the opportunity to grow their business by leaps and bounds. There is also free access for a year to Amazon Launchpad, a platform that helps startups successfully sell their products on the marketplace. A highlight for the winners is also a spotlight placement as a top seller on the Amazon Launchpad homepage. This provides maximum visibility and promotes sales success. The winners also receive the rights to use the awards logo and an exclusive Amazon Launchpad Innovation Awards trophy.
There is also a prize for the “best local start-up“. The winner receives prize money of €10,000.
Evaluation criteria and selection process:
Entries for the Amazon Launchpad Innovation Awards are individually evaluated by a jury of experts. The jury takes into account various criteria such as aesthetics and product design, social, environmental and economic sustainability aspects of the product as well as uniqueness and distinction. Winners are selected based on the expert jury’s evaluation. It is important to note that the above criteria are not in a hierarchical order and that the expert jury may weight them differently.
To enter the Amazon Launchpad Innovation Awards 2023, you must submit your entry in English by 30 July 2023. Finalists will be notified by 6 August 2023 and must submit two product samples by 1 September 2023. The finalists will be announced on 14 September 2023.
